Very nice pattern. I used a wool fabric for the outside and a lining fabric for the inside. The two fabrics have different directions of stretch, a challenge for me as I am still a beginner. I am very pleased with the result. A warm, cozy and beautiful gilet that fits every day.

With 1 really successful Atelier Scammit blouse behind me (Pepa - was a dream to put together with perfect results) I thought this one would be even easier, but I'm glad it came after the success of Pepa, otherwise I might have not persisted. The final product is adorable and I will be making more. But there was something so very, very tricky about the sleeve and skirt assembly that I nearly gave up on the top! I'm glad I followed the directions and sized-up because my fabric had zero stretch. I think I will make this again in another non-stretch woven and maybe I will alter for an invisible zip in the back. Another beautiful - and fun! - design by Atelier Scammit.
