Recommended fabrics :
- Weight: very light to medium (100 to 220 gsm or 3-7 oz.)
- Fabric: woven (veil, batiste, crepe...)
- Stretch factor*: 0 to 10% (0% elastane)
All version has been made size 38 without any modification / with below modifications (Johanna’s measurements : 1m75 - 87/71/95):
- Ocre version: worn with a HILDA blouse, a CALIFORNIA pants and a FLOW coat
- Bordeaux version: worn with a PETITES CHOSES pattern and an ATTITUDE trousers
- Green version: worn with an EUGENIE dress

Great easy blouse!
I made a muslin of this blouse (in about 30 mins!) and it comes together fast! My only issue is how far down the armpit is but that is a super simple fix! I think this is going to become a favorite wardrobe staple in all the floaty fabrics!! :-)

Simple and sweet
I made my first Declic in a couple hours to wear to my holiday work party. I made a couple tweaks so I could use a gorgeous heavy velvet (no French seams this time!) and it turned out beautifully. The shape is wonderful and the pleats worked nicely with my fabric. The armholes are definitely on the low side, but I don't mind - just need to choose my bra carefully.
I'll be making more in some lighter fabric options for the spring and summer.

Declic blouse
Wonderful pattern. I sew primarily with knits and looked for a well constructed pattern to help me transition back to sewing with woven fabric. This was the perfect pattern to work with.
