Bohemian blouse with a slight retro twist. It gets its flair from a V-shaped cut in front and back. Choose the blouse or dress version, with long sleeves with a ruffle, short sleeves with or without a hem, and optional sleeve caps. A perfect choice for a first-time sewer and lots of fun!

Goldilocks gathers
So many tops and dresses with gathers are WAY too poofy for me, and the rest of the garment is often big and boxy. But with this pattern, the gathers are just right. The shoulders, neck, and arms are quite a slim fit, and then these lovely gathers swirl out from such an interesting, flattering V-shaped seam line. I confess I made my first Virevolte in a too-thick double gauze and it was not a good fabric choice. Ended up two sizes too big, as the gauze grew. The next one I used a rayon and that was gorgeous. The designer's construction methods are professional and streamlined. As I've mentioned before, I do struggle a bit with her written instructions, for which I knocked off one star, but her video is excellent, even if you don't speak French. Such a pretty pattern.
