I've made a muslin of this top and I think it will be quite nice with the right drape. Thank you for sharing this pattern
I made this blouse out of a lightweight cotton woven. It was not flattering. I am a 1x and, i am thinking that it probably needed darts, it just was so bland. I had an issue getting the arm holes to match in width opening, of course my technical ability, but the worst was the v neck facing. I thought i followed so carefully and it came out... just bad. So i was glad i used fabric i had already instead of buying. Pretty disappointing.
I have made 2 of these tops so far in size XL. One was from a crepe material, the other from stonewash. They are both great! They fit without being voluminous, which is wonderful. I was a bit apprehensive about the V-neck, but the pattern is so well drafter, that it went together without any adjustment at all. I have a few more planned for my next projects. It is nice to get a pattern that works well for woven material!
A really nice top that can be constructed in about an hour with 1 to 2 yards of fabric. It can be sewn in a variety of fabrics, all the notches match and is well designed. The results are stylish and chic with minimal effort.
I finished making this top last week and enjoyed seeing it. It’s winter here in Australia so haven’t worn it yet. A simple yet stylish top. Love it!
I realy enjoyed sewing this top. I think it is easy to sew and an easy top to wear! The instructions were clear and the video was also very detailed. I really enjoyed doing the French seam which I had never done before!
As always, very happy with the pattern, the fit, and the video and instructions allowing me to take my finish to the next level! I highly recommend this pattern...
Great blouse. I have made 2 - one in a chiffon and one in a lightweight cotton. Very pleased with results. Another one is planned. Casual, but smart. Thank you
This is the first jeans pattern that I have sewn. I compared many jeans patterns before purchasing. This pattern was the most flexible and on-trend. It is also the first pattern I have bought from Atelier Scammit.
I can't believe this pattern includes a version for both non-stretch and stretch fabrics. On top of that, there are several versions in the pattern for different percent stretch ranges as well. Finally, the video really helped me even though I don't know any French.
I have made 2 pants using it. I made a toile from a stretch woven velvet fabric that turned out great, and then I made a pair in stretch 10oz. ivory denim. The finish is very professional and my denim ones look like "real jeans." I can't recommend this pattern highly enough.
I was really excited to find this pattern as it had lots that I was looking for. I made the option without the flounces. I really enjoyed making this pattern. The instructions were really clear and when I did struggle the video backed them up very well. I enjoy how neat the lining is. This is a great pattern and I'd recommend to anyone looking to build their skills.
I like this pattern very much, it fits me nicely after I adjusted waist and hips to my own personal sizing. So far I have made two of these trousers and I plan on making another one in a different colour. The first one was just to see how it fits me personally, it good so I wear it. I also like the YouTube tutorial, as the demonstration and instructions are easy to follow, even if one doesn't speak French, just turn on the to audio captions and change it to your preferred language. It may take a little bit longer to read all the instructions but with the following along video its not problem at all.
I love this vest. I made the long version but will definitely be making a short one as well. Great pattern!
I have made Icone sweatshirt several times and the result was great each time. I like easy to follow instructions, good fit, shape of the hoodie and the buttoned version. Love the patterns by Atelier Scammit.
I have sewn the pattern without any alterations according to the mesurement chart ant the fit is just perfect. I decided to make a second one as a shirt and love that one too.
I love this blouse, and have wanted the pattern for several years. I finally bought it and have been working on toiles for a perfect fit. Unfortunately, the size range is a little too small for me, but I will continue working on it as I do love the blouse and want to make this pattern work for me. The pattern is well drafted and not difficult to sew.
I loved this dress so much that I made one for my sister as a birthday gift. She was so surprised and loved it as much as I did. The instructions are pretty easy and where I got stuck, a video tutorial was available to follow along. Even though the video was in French, it was easy to see what she was doing. If you are looking for something light and airy for this summer, I definitely recommend this dress. Out of the 15 or so dress patterns I have tried in the past couple of years, this one is on the top 3.
I love this skirt pattern! The construction details make it special—-French seams, the pockets, and even the hem. Absolutely will be making it again.
The Icone has so many versions it is brilliant, I have made the sweatshirt with the hood so far and have plans for more.
This pattern comes together really easily and the neckline instructions both written and in the sew along made getting a perfect sitting neckline simple.
I had to have this pattern as soon as it came out.... it can be made in so many fabrics and be useful at any time of year. I have made one so far and have got ideas for many more
A simple and very nice hoodie. I have sewn the variant with hood and wihout. Easy pattern to sew.
Thank you Atelier Scämmit!
I did not need another shirt pattern, but I am so glad I tried this one as it is now my favorite. The written instructions were sometimes a bit confusing but the video instructions were very clear (even though I don't understand a word of French).
The construction and finishing methods are a little different from what I was used to; even so I managed to make the neatest and most professional looking shirt in my 40 years of sewing.
I have made this pattern several times. Flattering style and so pretty. Easy to understand instructions. Love it.
Purchased during COVID lockdown and never finished. Great instructions, lovely design and nice options. It’s on the sewing table to finish this weekend…..
Love this blouse. Did hack it by removing the button option and added a ruffle along the neckline. It’s so easy to make and the directions are well written. Thank you.
I've made quite a few of these, it's become my go-to blouse/shirt pattern. I've used viscose and viscose crepe, and a chambray as well. All worked well and give it a different vibe. I have even fully lined one with bamboo 'silk', so that it can be worn in cooler weather. I live in Wales UK, and we have two seasons here - July and winter. It's a great layering piece. I haven't made the dress version yet, but plan to one day.
Great pattern currently making blouse version I am following written instructions and sew along video on utube.
I've only made one of these so far, but I'm hunting for more fabric. There are so many options here, that I think it's the only jumper pattern I'll need in future. I wear it all the time. I made it in a black fabric with white stripes, and with black and white buttons across one shoulder. I love the oversized shape and it feels effortlessly chic.
This is a lovely pattern. I found it relaxing and absorbing to follow the video tutorial. It is a great way to use those scraps of fabric and create your own version to gift or keep yourself. I also got to practise my French although there are subtitles. Have a go!
I have sewed three Azur Shirts, with ruffles and without, and love them. The pdf tiled together well. Johanna's designs always fit me, while so many others leave me swimming. The fit you see on the model is the fit you get. As a small-boned person, I appreciate that. I did go up a size for a flannel version, and that worked well. Love the bias-binding technique for the collar, I've used it on other shirts. She has a knack for using unique construction methods that are both easy and sophisticated. I don't find her English instructions the easiest to follow, but the videos are excellent.
I made this first one out of some old stash fabric that unfortunately was to thick and didn't press very well, so I had a bit of a struggle, which of course isn't the patterns fault at all.
The neckline came out really nice and I love the look of the front with the pleats :) However I struggled a lot with the armholes and the side seams and didn't get them to match up properly. The armholes were way too big for my liking and the side seams under the arms looked very odd at the top :( Next time I'm going to make some changes and perhaps use biasbinding instead of a double hem for the armholes, do regular seams instead of french seams (at least at the sides) and of course, choose a lighter fabric. Declic in this particular fabric is totally wearable but not a favourite.
Thank you for the free pattern! :)
