AZUR
Feminine-cut shirt, wearable with long sleeves or rolled up sleeves for a casual look. The shoulder, offset to the front, is ruched, echoing the gathers on the back. Two collar options: shirtwaist collar (simple and elegant) or Victorian collar (equally pretty if worn open or closed). The sleeves have a tearproof tab, 2 ease pleats and either a simple cuff or flounce cuff. The shirt can be finished with a straight cut or rounded hemline. French seam finish with all-in-one facing yoke.

Another key piece from Atelier Scammit!
I've made quite a few of these, it's become my go-to blouse/shirt pattern. I've used viscose and viscose crepe, and a chambray as well. All worked well and give it a different vibe. I have even fully lined one with bamboo 'silk', so that it can be worn in cooler weather. I live in Wales UK, and we have two seasons here - July and winter. It's a great layering piece. I haven't made the dress version yet, but plan to one day.
Report abuseOne of my fav shirt patterns
I have sewed three Azur Shirts, with ruffles and without, and love them. The pdf tiled together well. Johanna's designs always fit me, while so many others leave me swimming. The fit you see on the model is the fit you get. As a small-boned person, I appreciate that. I did go up a size for a flannel version, and that worked well. Love the bias-binding technique for the collar, I've used it on other shirts. She has a knack for using unique construction methods that are both easy and sophisticated. I don't find her English instructions the easiest to follow, but the videos are excellent.
Report abuseBeautiful pattern
This is a great pattern. So far I made the blouse and I used the ruffled cuffs on another blouse. You will have to take your time with the ruffles, especially if your pattern has a print but it’s well worth the effort. And it is nice to slow down and really do the best job you can. And learn a few new skills!
The instruction in English were easy to follow. There is also a video (in french but you can see really well what the lady is doing). All and all I highly recommend this pattern!
